Gregory Crewdson’s “Norman Rockwell Moment”

On Saturday, March 27, photographer Gregory Crewdson gave a lecture about his work and contemporary photography at Norman Rockwell Museum. atlanta appliance repair . Here, Crewdson discusses the similarities between his work and Rockwell’s– more than perhaps first meets the eye! The lecture was presented as part of the Museum’s ongoing “Artist & The Photograph” lecture series, held in conjunction with the exhibition “Norman Rockwell: Behind the Camera,” which looks at Rockwell’s use of highly detailed reference photography in constructing his iconic works. The exhibition will be on view at Norman Rockwell Museum through May 31, 2010.
