Portfolio Bootcamp is a weekend intensive workshop aimed at working with photographers of all levels in getting their portfolios in great shape. Bootcamp instructors will work with you to improve and maximize your impact for award submissions, portfolio reviews, fund-seeking campaigns, and meetings with industry professionals. Attendees receive hands on professional advice on editing, sequencing, presenting, and preparing to engage an audience.
Plenary presentations include Effective Artist Statements, Creating a Personal Brand, followed by intimate classroom discussions, and ending with one-on-one portfolio reviews of your work. Friday and Saturday evening panel discussions with the presenters will cover topics including Storytelling Techniques, Building Your Network, Motivating Your Audience, Funding Opportunities, Follow up, and more. This weekend intensive is designed to be fun, engaging, and productive.
Located at the historic and beautiful IHM Retreat and Conference Center in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains in Santa Fe, NM, participants are encouraged to stay on campus for an immersive experience.
