Pablove Shutterbugs is an eight-week program created by Catherine Berclaz and Jo Ann Thrailkill for children living with cancer, giving them an opportunity to have a creative voice through the art of photography. The students are given their own camera equipment, keeping them upon completion of the program. Hands-on instruction is given weekly through a mix of one-on-one and group classes. In their January 2011 launch, they worked with children from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
