MoCP Expands Permanent Collection

Boasting a growing collection of acclaimed artists, the Museum of Contemporary Photography recently added 101 new acquisitions to its collection of more than 9,000 photographs and photography-related objects.

Internationally acclaimed artwork created by more than 20 photographers are included within these new acquisitions. Since being accepted last month, these pieces are in the process of being accessioned—or legally added—into the museum’s permanent collection.

Selected artists include Ross Sawyers, Daniel Gordon, An My-Lê, Melissa Ann Pinney, Marina Abramović, Alec Soth and Antonio Perez.
